Title

Judicial Hearings Begin as Faculty Challenge Process

Subject

18 students from the 30 already placed on probation for protesting Charles Murray were accused of having violated the Handbook during their protests. Another group of students alongside faculty members planned a sit-in in the Services Building due to the lack of communication and transparency. Many of the faculty involved in the sit-in preferred a restorative justice model for the hearings, but the administration found these models unsuccessful in the past and decided against it. The administration allowed students to choose a group hearing.
