Subject
The Human Relations Committee completed their primary draft for the 35 recommendations that they believe Middlebury should take regarding changes in the climate of diversity at the College. These changes included the creation of the role of Dean of Institutional Diversity who would help to recruit and retain students/faculty with underrepresented backgrounds in higher education. It also calls for published reports at the end of each term that summarize the number and nature of incidents of racial harassment.
