Student op-ed that is trying to "fact check" the idea that the RNC was the first of the two parties to use the racist Willie Horton campaign in 1988 against George Bush. He is essentially trying to turn the fact that what the RNC did was racist "on its head", by pointing out how the DNC was complicit in the usage of Willie Horton as a racist and how the RNC was "villainized" and wasn't, because "Fact #3: The Republican commercials never mentioned the fact that Horton was black."
