Title

African-American Alliance is more than a new name

Subject

BSU changes its name to AAA and adopts new philosophy that focuses primarily on cultivating unity within the organization, and secondarily amongst the general Middlebury community. There is also to be a larger focus on fostering and administering "to African-American students, rather than the larger category of Black students." The article also identifies some of the events that the AAA is sponsoring in celebration of Black History Month (first annual Black Weekend, Students of Color Career Panel, movie showings, speakers, activities, Annual fashion show, etc).
