All College Meeting Night was sponsored by the College Democrats. Approximately 70 students, various Deans, members of the administration, and faculty members were in attendance. IT was an opportunity for there to be an "open dialogue" among participants.

"One minority student passionately asserted, 'I cannot recommend to any Black student that he or she come to Middlebury-- because of the significant lack of a minority academic, psychological, and social support system'. Many students at the meeting believed that a significant contributing factor to this problem is a lack of 'racially diverse' faculty."
