Murray Dry criticizes Campus coverage on the talk that he gave regarding affirmative action. Dry felt that the article was not representative of the lecture and claimed that Campus writers dramatized a nonexistent level of hostility from the audience, as well as misrepresented his words on account of not having a copy of the text, presentation, or argument. The Campus includes an editorial note stating "As a point of fact, The Campus taped the lecture and obtained a transcript of Dry's speech."
