Title
Religion Conference Seen as 'Successful' by Chairmen
Subject
Speakers at a conference declared that the "racial issue" in America was not a regional one but a national one and that its continuation was an "embarrassment" for the US. In a discussion with representatives from the Student Union, the fact that there were still no Black female students at Middlebury and the lack of interracial dating was discussed as well.
