This letter is calling for significant administrative change/action in order to support students of color. Authors call for aggressive recruitment and retainment tactics for faculty/students of color, as well as calls for "curricular changes that reflect a dedication to multicultural education". The author also points out how many cultural organizations that carry a majority of the burden of retaining and supporting students of color are student-run. They receive no compensation and limited administrative support for the massive job that they do in terms of supporting/protecting students of color. </text>
